Arsenal down, 3 more to go

For three weeks now, cules across the world have been waiting for the return leg of Barca/Arsenal at the Camp Nou, and both teams came to play a game that was a joy to watch for all fans.

Aside from the horrendous second yellow shown to Van Persie, the game was clean, open and filled with edge-of-your seat action. Barca put their stamp on the game from the outset by keeping the ball away from the Gunners and pressuring high up the pitch to not allow them any room to operate. Things weren't clicking 100% but the chances and passing were certainly on display. And not enough can be said about that wonderful Camp Nou crowd!

As a fan of this wonderful team, I can't help but feel giddy and excited at our qualifying for the quarterfinals of arguably the best competition in futbol again. It's no small feat, especially by beating one of the best teams in the world and the English Premier League. I went into this game thinking Barca would need to score at least 3 times considering Arsenal's attacking prowess, and the men came through after Busquets' folly.
that's exactly what the Gunners brought out of the Blaugrana

Full credit to Arsenal and their players. They fought all the way through the 180 minutes and put Pep and his men on the back foot more than once. Jack Wilshere is probably the revelation of the season so far, and the two CB's played pretty well.

But I must say, being the first team to qualify to the quarters is a great feeling. Bring on all comers and Visca Barca!
